Halloween is Grinch Night

Christmas isn't the only holiday for the Grinch. Before there were Grinch costumes and Grinch masks, the Grinch was on television with his own Halloween special.

Twenty years after invading the Whoville Christmas, Halloween is Grinch Night was shown. Although made decades later, the musical was supposed to be a prequel to the Christmas story.

Although this animated Halloween show is not nearly as famous as the Christmas story, it won an Emmy for being an outstanding animation.

You can watch it here:

The Story

There is a night at Whoville called the Grinch Night where a sour sweet wind blows, and the wind causes various odd creatures to begin howling and making noises.

The noise is not too friendly to the ears of a Grinch, who decides to seek revenge on the Whos.

The Grinch has loaded up his Paraphernalia Wagon when he and Max are met by a Who has been accidentally swept up to Mount Crumpit by the big wind.

The little Who sees all the scary monsters in the wagon, but is able keep himself together and delay the Grinch long enough for the sour sweet wind to finally stop.

With the wind stopping, the noises stop, and the Grinch retreats back to his cave. The little Who is met as a hero for saving the town from the monsters in the evil wagon.
